Wilson Pace

Wilson Pace recently joined the Raymond James Financial Institutions Strategies department working with depository institutions to develop comprehensive balance sheet solutions. His prior experience sitting on investment and loan committees coupled with board-level discussions make him a readily available resource for our customers managing all facets of the balance sheet.

Prior to Raymond James, Wilson served as chief investment officer of Paragon Bank in Memphis, Tennessee, managing a whole loan and securities investment portfolio with significant responsibilities in the origination of commercial and government guaranteed loans. Wilson also has experience as a development associate for a private firm developing single-family, multifamily and triple net CRE projects throughout the Southeast. From 2005 to 2019, he traded government guaranteed loans at Vining Sparks, IBG, serving as head of government guaranteed loan trading originating over 7bn in SBA pools and managing a trading portfolio of government guaranteed loans, 7a pools and SBAP/SBIC securities.

Wilson is a 2001 graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and has had professional stints at Greenwich Capital, Vining Sparks IBG, Paragon Bank and The Blackburn Group, LLC.
